Access our latest research into the Corona virus impact on Chinese consumers in Europe and in North America
China Insight together with our U.S. based partner CLA are initiating spot research to determine the likely impact of the coronavirus on Chinese consumers who are based in Europe and in North America. This research will inform brands on how to best engage overseas-based Chinese consumers in this context and to develop strategies to penetrate this market over the next three to six months. We will conduct quantitative and qualitative research to delve into two major groups :
1.) Chinese Consumers: Chinese students, alumni, homeowners and other Chinese residents in Europe and North America.
We will be running a survey and conducting interviews with local Chinese consumers, including Chinese students, alumni, homeowners and Chinese residents in Europe and North America.
2.) "Daigou": selling agents who are typically based in Europe and North America and purchase products for friends, family and others back in China. We will conduct quantitative and qualitative research to determine the impact of the coronavirus on the Daigou market to gain a better understanding of the expected changes in demand over the next three to six months. As part of this research, we will be running a survey and conducting extensive interviews with Daigous in Europe and in North America.
We offer brands the opportunity to insert questions into the surveys and interviews. Participating brands can submit three bespoke questions and receive the full results and recommendations from the survey.
Cost: £2,500 — includes submission of three bespoke questions into the research flight and receive full results and recommendations
Survey incentives: We request that participating brands provide survey incentives such a products or discount codes to be given to participants as incentive for participating in the research study.
